Paradox Of Our Times

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers;
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints;
We spend more, but have little;
We buy more and enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families;
More conveniences, but less time;
We have more degrees, but less common sense;
More knowledge, but less judgement;
More experts, but more problems;
More medicine, but less wellness.

We spend too recklessly, laugh too little,
Drive too fast, get too angry too quickly,
Stay up too late, get up too tired,
Read too seldom, Watch TV too much,
and don't pray often enough.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom and lie too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;
We've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, But have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.

We've conquered outer space, but not inner space;
We've done larger things, but not better things;
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul;
We've split the atom, but not our prejudice;
We write more, but learn less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait;
We have higher incomes; but lower morals;
More food but less appeasement;
More acquaintances, but fewer friends;
More effort but less success.

We build better computers to hold more information,
Produce more copies than ever,
yet have less communication;
We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and upset stomachs;
More kinds of food, but less nutrition.
These are the times of world peace,
but domestic warfare;
More leisure and less fun;

These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce;
Of fancier houses, but broken homes;
Tall men and short character;
Steep profits, and shallow relationships.
These are days of quick trips, throwaway morality,
One-night stands, and pills that do everything from Cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the show window,
And nothing in the stockroom.

Think about it.

Guess what it is ... ~

It has a pair of ears, two big shiny black eyes and a tiny nose.
Its body size is quite small, almost the size of a cup or a tea cup and may be bigger a little.
It's colour of the body fur coating is white grayish coloured.
It has small feet’s but a strong grip with its fingers that is good for climbing.
It can eat almost anything although its favourite food is nuts or seeds.
It has the ability to soar in the air for not very long but far however it is still convenient.
It is not a bird that has a pair of wings to fly, but
It uses its body skin between its arms and legs for its ability with a stretch.
It seems innocent and it is food for its predators which are big, dangerous, and scary too.
It also has a helpful companion behind it that is always following it around, supporting and controlling its action and stability where ever it goes.
It's good and fluffy companion is also helpful in away to accompany it and to keep it warm, secure and sometimes makes people think that it has a cute appearance with it's trustworthy companion.
So who or what is ‘it’?

Please place your answer in comment if you want ~ enjoy
Hint: the answer starts with the letter ‘f’. ^ ^

It was a dark and rainy friday,
and everyone had nothing to say,
save mr. A who crossed me too many time,
and therefore prompted me to write this rhyme,

many a time i had tried to get with him,
and yet he couldnt bother on a whim,

whenever i converse to him with a smile,
all i get are looks full of bile,
or words of someone senile,

but i shall one day be free of this conflict,
since he'll be always in fict,

and if mr. A sees this,
he may say alot of hey!
though i would just look away,
for i am done with my say,

by chance you try to talk to him,
he too will sport a face just like the grim,
too much that it will make you scream,
and later it shall invade your dreams,

so now if you come across him,
please remember to look away,
for surely he has nothing to say,
except that he's fully gay.

done by yours truly,
mr. anti-mr.A

Boy did time fly fast!

Well its already near the end of the year. I never notice that time flew so fast. It was just like yesterday i was in my 1st semester still new to college and still adjusting to my new life...
Well in a few days time it will be 1 month away from my final exams. I still have a month to prepare for it. Well people say that the best times of their life is during their teenage and childhood time. Last time life was simple back then. Now there are many pressure in life for us teens. The expectations for teens to perform and also the pressure from society. Well i would agree that our childhood times where the most enjoyable and carefree times where all we had to do is to do well in school. Times now also have changed children are being pushed to go for extra tuition classes. Then when it comes to secondary school more tuition, homework and other pressures. It seems that life for children and teenagers is becoming a routine. It would be going to school then come back and tuition in the evening and also at night. Then when there is not tuition on that day they are expected to study and do their homework. So is it true to say that the best time in out life is before becoming an adult? well u be the judge of it.
